Makings of a Malignancy

The world’s first cancer biology-themed escape room

Designed in collaboration with scientists and escape room designers, Makings of a Malignancy is an immersive, portable escape room that shows people how cancer occurs in the body and travels throughout. Scientifically accurate, yet suitable for a wide audience, most teams finish the experience within 5-12 minutes. With preventative messaging and puzzles demonstrating modern cancer therapies, players are not only engaged, but learn at the same time.

Educational

Puzzles are designed to teach players how to reduce their cancer risk through preventative behaviour change.

Dr Ken Dutton-Regester presented the concept and idea behind ‘Makings of a Malignancy’ at TEDxUQ 2019.
